Drive-In Movie
$5.00
In the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s almost every small town in America had a drive-in movie theater. The drive-in was the ideal summer outdoor amusement. The demographics of those who paid to watch picture shows in their cars fell into three main groups: Group 1: Families - Mom and Dad with kids. Most small kids were dressed in pajamas, destined to fall asleep shortly after the movie started. Group 2: Teenagers. Teenagers would pile into one car and still bring someone in the trunk. Group 3: Couples. For couples, a drive-in movie was a great date...and the only place they would have privacy from their families.
